Long-sealed grand jury records that could reveal whether Palm Beach prosecutors sabotaged their own case against child molester Jeffrey Epstein will likely remain hidden from the public, at least for now, a county judge signaled Wednesday.
The county’s chief judge, Krista Marx, appeared poised to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the Palm Beach Post that sought to open the documents, which have been sealed since 2006, but had not issued a decision from the bench following a hearing at the Palm Beach County Courthouse Wednesday morning.
Grand jury testimony and evidence is kept secret in Florida and can only be opened if it can be shown that the proceedings were tainted by wrongdoing.
Before Jeffrey Epstein moved into his infamous Manhattan townhome, it was owned by the clothing billionaire, Les Wexner, and left unoccupied for years.
The Columbus-based businessman, who owned Victoria’s Secret, embarked in the 1990s on an interior makeover of the former school.
The house was featured in the December 1995 edition of Architectural Digest.
Ummm there is a Picasso in the top photo. A real one. That’s some serious money. Who knew that clothing retail was so lucrative?!
A New York Times reporter, Christopher Mason, also wrote about the house around the time Epstein first took up residence.
Here’s some of what we wrote: “WHAT is the latest status symbol of the ultra rich? A spectacular residence they purchase for millions, reconfigure with the world’s leading architects and interior designers for even more millions, then elect not to live in.
Such is the fate of one of Manhattan’s largest town houses, a majestic stone mansion at 9 East 71st Street. Possessing some 21,000 square feet, the house was recently the uninhabited domain of Leslie H. Wexner, the founding chairman of the Limited Inc., the retailing company.
Mr. Wexner bought the house in 1989 for $13.2 million and lavished tens of millions on renovations, art and furnishings. Those curious to see the princely accommodations Mr. Wexner abandoned need look no further than the cover of last month’s Architectural Digest. When asked how long Mr. Wexner had occupied the property, Jeffrey Epstein, his protege and one of his financial advisers, replied, “Les never spent more than two months there.”
Visitors described a bathroom reminiscent of James Bond movies: hidden beneath a stairway, lined with lead to provide shelter from attack and supplied with closed-circuit television screens and a telephone, both concealed in a cabinet beneath the sink. The house also has a heated sidewalk.
The seven-story house was built by the society architect Horace Trumbauer in 1933 for Herbert N. Straus, an heir to the Macy’s fortune, who died before it was completed. (Mr. Trumbauer also built Clarendon Court in Newport, R.I., the former home of Sunny and Claus von Bulow.) The Straus house later became a convalescent home and the Birch Wathen School, making Mr. Wexner the first private resident — or at least, the first private nonresident.”
Reached in Florida last week, Epstein confirmed the house was his home.”
The question remains – why did Wexner give Epstein the townhome?
The Netflix Epstein Filthy Rich documentary is finally out. We’ve reviewed episodes one and two already, go check them out if you haven’t. This week we share our impressions of episode three of the series.
But before that, it’s been raining Epstein News. It’s hard to know where to begin.
To start, we have exclusive information from a listener about Epstein’s Pervert Island.
Jen is going to talk about the return of the internet activist group, Anonymous. What does it have to do with Epstein? Everything! Then she will talk about legal action this week in Palm Beach, Florida.
Plus Prince Andrew is writing cheques he can’t cash. Again.
This episode contains disturbing content.
Hello and welcome to the Prince and the Pervert podcast. I’m Lisa Tait and I’m Jen Tarran. So it was last the week that the Netflix Epstein Filthy Rich documentary finally came out. We’ve reviewed episodes one and two already, go check them out if you haven’t.
So today we have our impressions of episode three. But before that, it’s been raining Epstein News. It’s hard to know where to start.
Jen is going to talk about the return of the internet activist group, Anonymous. What does it have to do with Epstein? Everything! Then she will talk about legal action in Palm Beach, Florida.
We received news from someone who went to Little St James island before it became Epstein’s hell on earth.
They went to LSJ four times in the late 90s and they ventured to the outside of the NY townhouse once (but they only knocked on the door of Epstein’s East 71st pile). They didn’t get as far as the lobby because they were making a delivery.
This person visited LSJ when it was owned by venture capitalist Arch Cummin, (who was in no way associated with the Epstein crimes.)
The island, furniture and the employees were transferred over in the sale. The dining table Epstein sat at while being massaged by Sarah Kellen was owned by the previous tenant.
One staff member later told our source they stopped working for Epstein because there were “so many young girls there.”
“He couldn’t handle the screams at night.”
People in NY society also knew Ghislaine was Epstein’s beard.
Our source said there would be tunnels there and JE and Ghis turned the public beach near where the boats docked into a marine reserve, so it was essentially private.
She added, “Ghislaine and I had a very good mutual friend … So, randomly, I get a phone call from Ghislaine Maxwell, who I never had heard of, didn’t know, and she said, ‘Our friend, Lisa, told me to call you … I know a lot of people in London and I want to make sure you’re okay and you have things to do.’ And it was very nice.”
About a half hour after Carole Radziwill got off the phone with Ghislaine Maxwell back in December 1999, sshe received another call — this time from Prince Andrew.
Assuming that he’d been filled in on her husband’s passing he said, “I would like to take you to dinner and to the ballet, if you’d like. I would love to do that for you.”
I found another thread by the same author which looked at the cash encircling Epstein and the powerbrokers. As a consequence, I sat up and took notice.
Here is the thread: If you read this know that I cannot vouch for the author. Plus your favourite politician may be in it, so don’t yell at me for I am Australian and we have our own problems.
July 5 2020: Explosive claims are emerging in which a journalist alleges a former real housewife star was allegedly hiding Epstein coconspirator Ghislaine Maxwell.
Yolanda Hadid and her superstar daughter, Gigi, are emphatically denying the claims made by a Dutch data researcher.
There’s no suggestion that Ms Hadid knows of or participated in anything illegal.
Updated: July 4, 2020: Here’s a picture of Denise Richards, the now Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star with Ghislaine Maxwell.
Now to my previous work:
So it’s time we looked into links between the housewives and Epstein because the dead pedophile had tentacles everywhere. I will be sticking to the Bravo shows that I have watched because this task requires context.
So here are my shows:
3. The Ladies of London
4. Flipping Out (all will be revealed).
Disclaimer: I’m from Australia, so there will be links and context that I’ve missed. Please let me know and I can amend this post.
Plus just because someone knew/had a photo taken with/provided services to /flew on a plane with Epstein or his henchwoman Ghislaine Maxwell it doesn’t mean they committed a crime.
Carole was friendly with Epstein’s she-monster Ghislaine Maxwell. The dead pedophile’s missing coconspirator took the author photo for Radziwill’s book What Remains (which was totally not ghostwritten, Aviva!)
But as we know from Carole’s friendships on RHONY, she may have given the impression she was friends with Ghislaine but actually she wasn’t (as with Tinsley).
She’s the aunt of the Hilton sisters, Paris and Nicky, through her sister, Kathy, who is the girls’ mother.
The last time Ghislaine Maxwell was spotted in public was at a 2019 motor racing event attended by Paris Hilton.
Her sister Nicky’s ex husband, Todd Meister, is also listed on Epstein’s little black book. The pedophile was a business associate of Todd’s father, Robert.
The Ladies of London star denied she ever dated Andrew & said she known him since she was a child.
It’s likely she blew off the Duke of York because he’s a total moron. She doesn’t need to be a Duchess because she is already a Queen.
Prince Andrew pulled out an unusual courting technique for the former Ladies of London star – he invited her to his mother’s throne room.
A source said: “He took her to Buckingham Palace twice, and on one occasion she sat on the queen’s throne,” a source close to the model said.
“This means Caprice would have been admitted into the Throne Room, which prominently displays the throne, upholstered in crimson silk, that was made for the queen’s coronation in 1953, and another chair later made for her husband, Prince Philip.
As an American, she was thoroughly entertained at the notion he was a part of the royal family,” the friend told The Sun about the series of hush-hush dates Caprice and Andrew went on. “Plus all the secretive rendezvous, although unnecessary, were a great family dinner conversation point.”
Unfortunately for Andrew, Caprice, who also competed on the TV show “Dancing On Ice,” never reciprocated his romantic feelings and their dates were platonic. “She never fancied him” and ultimately “ghosted” him, the friend said.
Ghosted him – awesome.
Her experience with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell is so disturbing. This is exactly how people are entrapped into sex slavery.
Adela King, 45, alleged in an Instagram post that she had a lucky escape from the disgraced financier after she was once approached by Maxwell under the premise of doing some modelling work.
It was a very close call after meeting Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
“When I got to Claridges they called up to Epstein and announced my arrival so I got into the lift to his floor and as I was walking down the corridor two women came out of his suite and were obviously in a hurry and falling over themselves laughing one was Ghislaine … this didn’t sit right with me but I went ahead anyway.
“Epstein opened the door to his suite and sat down on his sofa and looked through my portfolio and then instructed me to pose in a degrading way and said he’d be in touch.”
She added: “A few days later I went to a friend’s birthday in the private room of a restaurant.
“Ghislainemaxwell walked in and when she saw me she was mortified she couldn’t believe I ran in the same circles as her.
“I told some friends at dinner about my encounter with her and Epstein and they told me she recruited women for threesomes with them both!
“I was in shock how I’d been so stupid! But I believe that dinner saved me from something far worse and thankfully I never heard from them again.”
I’ve never seen the Real Housewives of Miami but I’ve watched Lea Black on Flipping Out.
Her husband was one of Epstein’s lawyers but that doesn’t mean much because Epstein needed many, many attorneys.
“Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson, with whom he still lives, are a bit disappointed. Many of the charities provided the prince, or both of them, with all-expenses paid visits to many exotic locations at home and abroad. Also each organisation held a formal royal lunch or dinner each year — providing two thirds of the couple’s annual nosh.
The pair will get no more free tickets to the English National Ballet and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, both of which had him as patron.
Charities involved with young children were quick to realise his connection with a convicted paedophile as well as accusations made about his own behaviour with underage girls could be embarrassing to say the least. Out he went.”
