A Historical Analysis of Ghislaine Maxwell’s Short Hair Cut

I am the granddaughter of a hairdresser from Lithgow, the forthright Queen of the Basin, Freda Tait.

Nanna hated long hair, so I was forced to run around town with a helmet haircut until I was 18.

The following three photos demonstrate the look I was forced to live with after submitting to a “Lady Di cut” when I was 9.

That’s me in the circle. If only I knew about the magic of the round barrel brush.

A bouffant matches voluminous taffeta to perfection.

Nanna hated it when I grew my hair out but I figured she could go after my younger sister now I was at uni. So cue several years of comments about how my hair looked terrible long.

So back to Epstein’s alleged coconspirator. Here are some of her looks during the ‘90s and 2000s.

So this look above with the longer layered bob is actually ok for a henchwoman.

Why would she lob it all off into the most unattractive demonic pixie cut ever?

I’m appalled. Why would you do that to yourself? Or is it a tribute to her Dad’s haircut in the photo-frame above, bottom left?

Did she not know about the GHD straighter? An arm injury prevented her from blow drying longer hair? Was she a swimmer? Did she need it for the sake of her evil efficiency?

Survivor Maria Farmer said Epstein’s coconspirator insisted on the girls lobbing off their hair. Ms Farmer, who was the first to report Maxwell & Epstein in 1996, was made cut her hair by Maxwell & hated it.

Here are some of Epstein’s young staff with short hair in the early 2000s.

Ghislaine had no excuse to walk around with that helmet haircut because Epstein shouted free hair services at a fancy salon.

Interestingly, her hair is now much longer and streaked with grey, according to people who saw her at the bail hearing. I imagine it’s hard to get your hair done while in hiding.

Since she’s only allowed to shower three-times-a-week in jail, there will be no fancy hair services in her future.
