Ghislaine Maxwell’s Red Carpet Looks

Let’s not beat around the bush, Ghislaine Maxwell has no soul, zero class & abominable fashion sense.

It takes a lot of money to look as bad as the convicted sex trafficker. So when Virginia Giuffre told me on Twitter Ghislaine hated being the butt of a joke, I had to do something,

It doesn’t matter the decade, she can’t make it work.

Surely she could’ve found a stylist with her money? I suppose no one was ever honest with her.

But things are improving for her because she now gets to wear the same thing everyday, thanks to the US Government.

We do our research.

Anyway I put another collage together because I’m generally very snarky & she’s evil.

Exhibit two:

Again, I have so many questions about the Epstein saga.

Maybe I should ask some of her famous friends or acquaintances? I doubt they be keen to talk about her these days.

Oh! Look! It’s Ghislaine with Donald Trump, Mrs Trump and model Naomi Campbell! There’s some aggressive shoulder action from Ms Maxwell.

Look it is Barbara!
Eww I hate that parachute dress with coral necklace

Prince Andrew: Duke of Caviar

Prince Andrew enjoyed “caviar diplomacy” from an autocratic nation, including lavish hospitality, private flights and a blind Russian masseuse.

  • The Azerbaijani dictatorship was using a full-spectrum influence campaign to sway Western opinion in its favour.
  • Since 1991, about 20 billion pounds was invested by the UK into the former Soviet state, according to the Daily Mail.
  • Moreover, the royal met with the autocratic president of Azerbaijan 12 times.
  • Caviar diplomacy is used to improve a country’s image in the eyes of the world.
  • Plus reports of Azerbaijan lobbying of Prince William and Prince Harry to host a polo match in the country.

The former soviet nation courted the Duke of York with lavish hospitality and declared him the “Dear Guest”, travel records, media reports and anti-corruption reports show.

From flights on the president’s jet to gifts of the fishy delicacy, they rolled out the red carpet for Prince Andrew.

Azerbaijan is a nation where you can bathe in crude oil to improve your health. Or just because you can, if you have the money.

There is no evidence the royal engaged in inappropriate behaviour. But he spent time with unsavoury people.

2011: Ilham Aliyev met with Duke of York of the Great Britain, Prince Andrew

Critics are accusing the Azerbaijani government of carrying out a “full-spectrum influence campaign” in the West. This includes lobbying, PR, lavish gifts, and junkets.

The goal of this campaign was to sway Western opinion and it appeared to have worked.

In recent years, the nation enjoyed increasing support from the UK.

Prince Andrew was an advocate for closer ties with Azerbaijan. This was despite reports of widespread torture and repression in the nation.

According to The Economist, caviar diplomacy diverts “attention abroad from its (a nation’s) human-rights record and discourage the opposition at home”. In the case of Azerbaijan, through lavish extravaganzas and high-end lobbying.”

Why is this relevant? Jeffrey Epstein described Prince Andrew as a “useful idiot.”

The royal linked him up with contacts who wanted deals in obscure countries, according to biographer Tina Brown.

Epstein would fly Prince Andrew to meet governments who could not refuse to see him because he was a royal. The now-dead pedophile would come with him as an ‘investment adviser’ to His Royal Highness.

Moreover, Epstein would then negotiate deals for his personal gain.

During his time as UK special representative, Prince Andrew helped negotiate several energy deals, according to The Economist.

In 2017, Britain was the largest investor in Azerbaijan, mainly through BP oil and companies related to resources.

As well, the UK has invested about 20 billion pounds in the country.

According to The Daily Mail: “In Azerbaijan, Prince Andrew is routinely described as a ‘dear guest’ by the leader of a country that ranks as one of the most corrupt in the world on the Transparency Index.

President Ilham Aliyev took the royal to his spa, which employed the blind masseur, described as the best in the world.

Moreover, former UK PM Tony Blair had a private meeting with Prince Andrew in 2009 after they stayed in the same hotel in Baku.

Andrew was on a private three-day visit ‘with an element of work’. But he had previously established a wealth of contacts while promoting British business interests in his envoy role.

Prince Andrew was in 2014 censured for sneaking off twice to Azerbaijan.

Moreover, the Duke of York flew by private jet to meet President Aliyev. The royal stayed in the capital, Baku, during one ‘private’ trip.

A British Government source tipped off the pressure group, Platform, which campaigns against abuses associated with the energy industry.

Its spokesman, Emma Hughes, accused the prince of having a ‘cosy relationship’ with the President.

The Duke of York had also summoned Britain’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan for a meeting at Buckingham Palace.

Prince Andrew made eight visits to Azerbaijan in six years. Two were private, arousing suspicions he has business interests there, including a golf complex. There was a total of 12 jaunts to Baku.

The business claims have been vigorously denied by Buckingham Palace. Categorically. Vehemently. Absolutely denied.

At Andrew’s 60th party, a friend of Aliyev donated caviar and a monster bottle of wine. The links don’t stop there – the friend’s wife is the President’s niece.

The donor, Soheil Dadfar, was thanked on the menu. It just happened to drop into the hands of The Daily Mail.

So what does the President of Azerbaijan want from his caviar diplomacy? Well one thing you can do is launder money overseas.

According to a report from the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, the regime parked money in London. The President and two daughters — Leyla and Arzu — own a penthouse in London worth $26 million.

Finally, Prince Andrew is friends with Layla.

In 2021, The Guardian reported The Queen’s estate launched a review into a £67m London property, bought from the family.

The Pandora papers revealed a network of offshore companies linked to Aliyev and associates. They traded £400m of UK property over 15 years.

Properties include a London mansion worth $25 million, a flat near Hyde Park worth $8 million, nine waterfront mansions in Dubai valued at $44 million, a dacha near Moscow worth $37 million, and a villa in the Czech spa town of Karlovy Vary worth $ 1.1 million.

These are just “the known properties”.

But it’s not just about money.

The Economist: “The government practises a revolving-door policy with critics, locking them up and releasing them when it is expedient.”

But Azerbaijan wants more than honorary membership of the European community. Exactly what that is remains unclear.

Moreover, the nation faces increased sanctions and is finding it difficult to steal from its people and launder money. This is due to human rights, money laundering and election rigging.

But whatever it does, it involves oil, property and the provision of caviar.

My Great-Grandmother & Family: Jailing Rapists Since 1900

No one intimidated Ellen Jane O’Sullivan McHugh – certainly not a lawyer defending the man who abducted her teen sister.

Here’s her response in court when she was erroneously asked by the solicitor if she’d been “convicted of hiding a pregnancy.”

Witness (Nanna McHugh): No: ask me questions in connection with this case and I will answer them; otherwise I will not answer.

This part of the Nanna McHugh story starts in 1900. Australia was still a British colony and Queen Victoria was the monarch.

  • Can you imagine what it took back then to get that man jailed for the rape of my great-grandmother’s 11-year-old sister?
  • And then three years later have another man sentenced to a year of prison for the abduction of another of her sisters?

This is a tale of male entitlement, barbaric behaviour and resistance by people who didn’t have a lot; but they knew what justice looked like to them.

Also this serves as a warning to never mess with Irish Australians.

Below is my great-grandmother Ellen Jane O’Sullivan McHugh. She had 10 children, was a good Catholic, and married a charming Irishman.

Nanna McHugh outside church in Portland NSW

Her husband, Thomas Joseph McHugh, had immigrated to Australia from County Fermanagh in Northern Island.

Nanna McHugh was by all accounts a force of nature and was one of 16 children borne by her mother Mary Anne Philpot O’Sullivan.

Although born in Wellington, Australia, she grew up in the nearby Central Western New South Wales area known as Stuart Town.

It was originally called Ironbarks, the village Australian poet Banjo Paterson used for his poem, ‘Man from Ironbark’.

This story starts in January 1900, when Nanna McHugh’s sister, Charlotte A O’Sullivan, was walking with her sisters to school when she was attacked by a degenerate named Charles Flowers.

It happened at nearby Sandy Creek. The rapist was described at the time as “an elderly old blackguard.” According to Wikipedia, this means he was a scoundrel or a person of poor character. The term relates to whites.

The sisters, aged 11, 6, 12, were walking on a bush track when they met 60-year-old Flowers.

According to The Wellington Times, he took Charlotte “down a gully and committed the offences.”

He said he was mining a gully at the time of the incident. (See below)

The Wellington Times report from 1900

A judge at Dubbo Circuit Court later sentenced Flowers to three years jail, after he was found guilty of assault with intent.

At his committal hearing, Charlotte’s father and my great-great-grandfather, Timothy O’Sullivan, said Flowers had attempted to bribe him to drop the charges.

Flowers had said he didn’t want to go to jail. The O’Sullivans refused the offer of the tainted money.

They wanted Charles Flowers locked up for what he did to Charlotte.

And so he was.

According to a report in The Leader, Flowers was a married man who lived in Stuart Town.

He died in 1913, just before his wife Annie passed away.

But the O’Sullivans did not fear going up against Flowers.

My great-grandmother’s family achieved a three-year jail sentence for the elderly miner’s crimes against a young girl walking to school.

Moreover, it was significant because we know girls today are not believed.

But Charlotte’s family did believe her and they sought justice.

Nanna McHugh was living in the O’Sullivan home at the time of the assault, but was soon to be married, which brings us to the second incident in 1903.

At the time, she lived with her husband, Thomas Joseph McHugh, my great-grandfather, in nearby Orange.

William Grose,

And when an uncle disappeared with her 15-year-old sister, there was fire and brimstone waiting for him upon his return.

William Grose was charged with the abduction of Mary Anne O’Sullivan, a girl aged 15 years and 7 months, “out of the possession of her father, with intent to carnally know her.”

The incident happened while the girl was staying with friends and family in Orange.

“My sister had no intention, so far as I knew, of going away before Grose came; the second day the accused was at my place by invitation,” the now Mrs Ellen McHugh told the court.

The accused was Nanna McHugh’s step-uncle, the stepbrother of her mother and he was aged about 34.

In court, Senior Constable Nancarrow testified: “I asked him (Grose) what he was up to with the O’Sullivan girl; he said “nothing” and that he was her uncle; I told him I didn’t care if he was fifty uncles, that she was underage and that he had better let her return to her parents; he said nothing.”

The victim, Miss Mary Anne O’Sullivan testified: “I was at her place (Nanna McHugh’s) in September to help her when she was sick; was there for two or three months; my mother wrote for me to come home; I did not go then, but my uncle Mr. Grose came for me; he said to Mrs. McHugh “her mother wants her home.”

What happened next resulted in Grose not taking the 15-year-old home. Instead, they went by train to Wellington, where they stayed in a guest house room with just one bed.

Ruth Theobald, the Wellington inn keeper, said she saw the accused at her place with a young girl.

“The girl she asked for lodgings; my daughter asked him was that his wife and he said “Yes”; they occupied the room that night; one bed only bad been occupied,” she said.

Timothy O’Sullivan, the father of the girl, said Mary Ann went to Ellen’s (McHugh’s) place with his permission; but she came back to Stuart Town with Grose.

“We had not sent Grose to Ellen’s place for Mary Ann; her mother sent a letter for her; did not give accused any permission to take her away or have anything whatever to do with her,” he said.

Mr O’Sullivan said Grose spoke of wanting to marry the victim after he was charged. He was told the proposition was deeply offensive.

Mary Ann O’Sullivan, mother of the girl and my great-great-grandmother, also stated she did not tell the accused to bring Mary home.

But she had told him she had written a letter asking her to come home.

And here’s the dickhead lawyer from the start of this post, a Mr WP Kelly. He is trying to poke holes in the testimonies on the basis of reputation.

Some of the O’Sullivan family have not the very best reputation.

Mr WP Kelly, counsel for Gross

(Those if you who listen to the podcast know I despise victim blamers)

This still goes on today; looking at you Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyers.

Grose was sentenced to a year’s jail and I bet he never went near the O’Sullivans and McHughs again.

Nanna McHugh’s headstone at Portland cemetery

I am an Irish Australian who is blessed to feel as though I am coming home when I visit Ireland.

Even for an atheist, I have a deep spiritual connection to the isle’s glorious, green farmland encapsulated by its weird, winding roads. Indigenous Australians call it connection to country & it is the best description I have of my experience.

On my first visit to Ireland, I fleetingly thought: “Have I been here before?” I hadn’t; but I felt it in my bones.

A knowingness. Was it activating through my DNA? Have I been imprinted with Irishness?Or was I drunk on Guinness?

Then it happened again on the second visit. It’s very cool to be part-Irish. I fly the flag with honour.

The O’Sullivans – I am them & they are me.

The Prince & the Pilfering ex-President

  • This image from an official Kazakhstan news publication tells a story about how Prince Andrew represented his country.
  • But it’s what else we’ve found that is truly shocking.
  • Dictators, oligarchs, exotic locations, trade deals, and intimate dinners with Kazakhstan’s Dictator Ex-President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Latest Prince Andrew News

As Chris Bryant, the Shadow Commons leader, said, “When I was at the Foreign Office, nobody could ever tell whether [Prince Andrew] was looking out for himself or whether he really had the interests of the country at heart.” Source: The Diplomat

  • What did the royal do with his privileged UK trade post, aside from frolicking with Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell & another alleged sex trafficker, Peter Nygard?
  • Prince Andrew seized his role as UK Special Ambassador for Trade and Investment and headed to some of the world’s most repressive regimes, such as Saudi Arabia, Russia and Kazakhstan.
  • In 2008, The Times wrote: “The two men (The Prince and Nazarbayev) are old acquaintances with a warm relationship, thanks in part to the many lucrative ones deals that have been cemented between British and Kazakh companies as a result of their joint efforts.
  • Prince Andrew sold his unwanted marital mansion for £3million above the sale price to a relative of the Kazack dictator. This deal was facilitated by an oil oligarch Ms Goga Ashkenazi, the former lover of the president’s son-in-law, who bought the derelict property.

Global Witness, an international think tank, calls Kazakhstan a  ‘kleptocracy’. This defined as “run by and for the benefit of the ruling family and its close associates.”

The nation this year exploded into unrest in a series of incidents known as Bloody January.

The trouble was partly ignited by economic inequality. But it was believed to have been escalated by the Kazakhstan government troops and Russian forces.

But just seven years ago, the Royals rolled out the red carpet for then-President Nursultan Nazarbayev..

Andrew is lurking in the background.
LOL. There he is. Queen Elizabeth waits to greet Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev at Buckingham Palace November 4, 2015. The President was in the UK on an official visit as a guest of the British Government.

According to The Times: “Andrew’s dealings with the oil and gas-rich former Soviet republic have multiplied in recent years. Since 2003 he has paid three social visits to the country.”

The duo dined together in 2008 in a VIP section of a five-star resort in Egypt, said The Times.

The East Asian nation’s tentacles are now deep inside the United Kingdom’s trade system. The Prince was also, until recently, the Honorary Patron of the British Kaazch Society.

The royal repeatedly visited Kazakhstan for his own reasons, too. He was there on another “private” visit in 2008, according to his spokesman.

For this reason, it is an understatement to say the Prince’s ties in the nation are deep and substantial, as this excerpt demonstrates:

What we know about Prince Andrew and his relationship with former Kazack ex-President (dictator) Nursultan Nazarbayev:

  • The ex-President’s family is blamed for “philphering the nation’s wealth.”
  • The average monthly salary in Kazakhstan is less than £450, while according to a 2019 report by KPMG, 162 people in the country own more than 50% of its wealth. “Much of the elite property is in the hands of Nazarbayev’s extended family, and they are estimated to own at least £530m of luxury property in the UK,” according to a report by Chatham House.
  • In 2016, UK politicians were calling for a probe “into Prince Andrew’s business deals in Kazakhstan” after The Daily Mail obtained a set of leaked emails and reported on how the Duke of York “was allegedly conducting business with Kazakhstan’s elite while acting as roving trade ambassador for the UK”.
  • The Royal opened social doors for a mysterious Kazak woman, Goga Ashkenazi, the daughter of a former Russian Communist official.
  • He also developed relations with other politicians and was present in London to help the Queen acknowledge £3billion in UK/Kazakhstan deals.
  • Latest Prince Andrew News. In 2016, it was revealed the Duke of York’s office urged crown estate to sell a London house to the tycoon who bought Andrew’s house for £3m over asking price. The office tried to secure a crown estate property near Kensington Palace.
  • The Queen rolled out the red carpet in London for the dictator. The Express was told in 2015, that President Nazarbayev had completed 40 trade deals with British firms.
  • The recent global crackdown on oligarchs brings to attention the opaque nature of the Royal’s Sunninghill real estate transaction.

At one event in London in 2015, official Kazack news source reported: “The Duke of York also placed a special emphasis on the importance of human contacts and ‘folk diplomacy’ to support friendship and mutual understanding between the two countries.”

Prince Andrew is no longer honorary patron of The British-Kazach Society due to the Epstein scandal. Ouch!

One official visit (see below) happened in 2006. There was another in 2010.

Latest Prince Andrew News: But there’s more to this story.

Part Two: Prince Andrew’s Crush & the Social Passport Which Helped the Oligarch to Crack London Society

What We’ve Found:

  • Prince Andrew’s friendship delivered a nod of approval to a Kazakh woman, now one of the richest in the world.
  • The woman, named Goga Ashkenazi , was educated in Russia and the UK. She went from being the daughter of an agricultural engineer, turned Communist Party official, to owning an oil and gas plant in her country of her birth, and later a Parisian fashion line.
  • While there is no evidence of impropriety on her behalf, her stratospheric climb into the upper echelons of UK and European society is meteoric.
  • Outside the UK, Ms Ashkenazi is the subject of conjecture and criticism.
  • In fact, she was so close to Prince Andrew she attempted to defend him when news broke of the Epstein scandal. At the same time, she confirmed his meeting with Virginia Roberts Giufree.
  • In the halls of power, there’s hardline politics at play, as well as soft, or influence, tactics. Both tactics yield results.

In 2011, Ms Ashkenazi seemed in the know about Virginia Roberts Giufree, according to a  report in The Sydney Morning Herald:

Kazakh-born Miss Ashkenazi, who attended Oxford and now lives in London, gave an insight into the Duke’s own feelings about his predicament, saying: “He knows it was unwise to fraternise with this Epstein character and it was silly to be photographed with his arm around Epstein’s masseuse. “But I know Andrew as a lovely, lovely man; kind-hearted, impeccably behaved and honourable, and I’m quite sure that at the time he had no idea that she was under age or anything more than a masseuse to Epstein.”

The Sydney Morning Herald, March 9, 2011.

Prince Andrew was the guest of honour at his friend’s lavish 30th birthday party. The dress code for the 2011 event was “sexy and fabulous.” In 2010, she attended the Royal’s 50th birthday celebrations, according to Vanity Fair.

Commenting in 2011, columnist David Aaronovitch said of Ms Ashkenazi: “She is part of that odd, cosmopolitan group of oligarchs, presidents, dictators’ kids and playboy financiers on to whose yachts or into whose ranches the prudent should never venture.”

Who is Goga Ashkenazi

According to FT.com: “Ashkenazi was born Gaukhar Berkalieva in Kazakhstan in 1980 but grew up in an apartment building for senior communist officials in Moscow. Her father was an engineer who sat in the Soviet party’s Central Committee under Mikhail Gorbachev. “To be completely honest with you, yes, I lived in privilege.”… She was 11 when the Soviet Union dissolved. However, her parents, like most senior communist officials, didn’t exactly plunge into poverty.”

In an article now featured in The Cut, she told a reporter: “In 1991, my father was able to use his connections to privatize a factory in Kazakhstan, so suddenly we were wealthy. Within a year, my mother sat me down and said, ‘The world has changed. We’re in a position to give you the best education in the world. You’re going to be competing with the most privileged children in the world.’

Latest Prince Andrew News

The reaction was explosive.

One reader responded: “Why spotlight this heinous person? And why is it so poorly written such that you can’t tell whether (writer) Konigsberg is trolling us, or trolling ‘Goga’? Another says: “So many things happening in the world, even in the fashion world, and NY Mag decides to glamorize an oligarch. Wow. 1% dreck.”

Later, she told how she: “partnered with her family in Kazakhstan to start MuniaGaz Engineering Group, which builds compressor stations for oil and gas pipelines and made her rich almost overnight.”

As one does.

She is now Chairwoman and Creative Director of the 100-year-old fashion label Vionnet, Ms Ashkenazi possesses a degree in Modern History and Economics from Oxford University & has taken fashion courses at Moscow State University of Design and Technology.

So how did she meet the Duke of York?

According to The Sun, the Royal and “the glamorous English-educated Kazakh socialite and businesswoman, reportedly enchanted the embattled Duke from the moment they met at a 2001 New Year’s Eve party in Phuket, Thailand.”

Who else did Prince Andrew spend that 2001 new year with in Asia?

Jeffrey Epstein & Ghislaine Maxwell, were also in Thailand with the Prince, although there’s no evidence Ms Ashkenazi ever associated with the disgraced pair.

Notably, Epstein and the duke were also photographed on a yacht during the trip with a group semi-naked females.

She insists they were just friends. But reports say the Duke was “besotted” with the then-20-year-old Goga.

Latest Prince Andrew News

Ms Ashenazi has skills in relationship management. Especially when it concerns a very specific property, outside of London.

That land being the £15million plot which belonged to Prince Andrew.

Timur Kulibayev, the billionaire son-in-law of Kazakhstan’s former president is the owner.

He paid £3million above the asking price for Prince Andrew’s long-unsold mansion Sunninghill Park. Ms Ashkenazi was the billionaire’s mistress at the time and is the mother of one of his children.

Fundamentally, Kulibayev owns 90percent of his country’s oil reserves.

Of the property transaction, a spokesman for the buyer told FT.com: “Kulibayev’s former partner Goga told me later. “I introduced them, so what? I’m not a real estate agent.”

For years, Prince Andrew’s business activities have been under the microscope. But the palace is never been transparent about the details.

Back in Prince Andrew’s bachelor days in the early and mid-2000s, the oligarch was soon his platonic plus-one.

At the time, he was roving UK trade ambassador and forging relationships with Middle East and Eurasian political regimes. And also with a billionaire in New York who had a mansion that “was a convenient place to stay”.

But Ms Ashkenazi herself is also the subject of much conjecture and criticism due to the company she keeps. From the embattled duke and her ex-lover Saif Gaddafi (son of dead Libyan dictator Muammar).

According to The Express, the Royal was a frequent visitor to Kazakhstan and enjoyed “close relations with some of its leading businessmen”.

Prince Andrew Putin We were looking for links between the Russian elite and Prince Andrew, but we have found something more interesting.

First, was there a Putin Andy bro-mance? According to press from 2004, there was a mutual admiration.

As well all know, Prince Andrew has never met an oligarch or a dictator he didn’t like.

Second, the Duke of York attended Russian fashion week at least twice, in 2004 and 2006.

Moreover, what was he doing at a Matthew Williamson catwalk show in Moscow? Oh yes, he was the UK special representative for trade. How convenient.

According to another English fashion designer, Jenny Packham, the Royal demanded she attend a VIP reception where he was holding court alone with young Russian models.

I know this is a shock…not..

According to Buckingham Palace, the Duke’s appearances were a part of his allegedly official duties.

Juror 50’s instagram post after the Maxwell trial

My name is Lisa Tait and with me today, as always, is my friend and podcast partner, Jen Tarran.

How are you, Jen?

Well, there’s lots of news out there at the moment.

After I finished editing, a heap of Maxwell court documents dropped in the middle of the night.

image 4
Federal inmate Ghislaine Maxwell

So these documents are included in the Ghislaine Maxwell case.

I’m still going to include the earlier documents that I wrap up in my documents. I will chat later on in this episode.

But these are the new ones that have dropped since we recorded yesterday.

So overnight documents from 609 through to 6 17 dropped.

I don’t think Ghislaine is going to be too happy.

Neither is Juror 50 so let’s have a look at these.

Ghislaine Maxwell New Trial: request denied.

Now the main document in this is document 610 which is an order from Alison J. Nathan, the judge and it reads:

“On January 19th 2022 the defendant filed a motion for a new trial pursuant to federal rule of Criminal Procedure 33.

On the basis that Juror 50 falsely answered a material question during voir dire and that had he answered truthfully, he would have been subject to a challenge for cause.

The defendant contends that the current paper records sufficiently supports her motion and should be granted without a hearing.

In the alternative, she requests that a hearing be conducted. She also argues that if a hearing is ordered, a broader hearing is required based on a news article that suggests a second juror was allegedly a victim of sexual abuse.”

Ghislaine Maxwell New Trial

In an opinion and order filed under temporary seal, the court denies the defendant’s motion for a new trial on the current record.

As explained in the temp sealed opinion and order:

Defendant’s motion on the current record relies extensively on statements made by Juror 50 regarding what occurred during jury deliberations that the court is prohibited from considering under federal rule of evidence 66 with regards to euro 50 statements that do not pertain to jury deliberations.

In order to resolve the motion on this record, the court would have to accept unsworn statements made to a media outlet as true and reach factual determinations that are not available on the current record.

Accordingly, for the reasons fully explained in the opinion and order,

a hearing is necessary to resolve the defendant’s motion because of the important interest in the finality of the judgments.

The standard for obtaining a post verdict hearing is high, the court concludes.

And the government concedes that the demanding standard for holding a post verdict evidentiary hearing is met.

As to whether Juror 50 failed to respond truthfully during the jury selection process to whether he was a victim of sexual abuse following trial,

Juror 50 made several direct, unambiguous statements to multiple media outlets about his own experience that do not pertain to jury deliberations and that cast doubt on the accuracy of his responses during jury selection during the fifties.

Ghislaine Maxwell New Trial

Post trial statements are clear, strong, substantial and incontrovertible evidence that a specific non speculative impropriety, namely a false statement during jury selection has occurred.

To be clear, the potential impropriety is not that someone with a history of sexual abuse may have served on the jury.

Rather, it is the potential failure to respond truthfully to questions during the jury selection process that asked for material information so that any potential bias could be explored.

In contrast, the demanding standard for ordering an evidentiary hearing is not met as to the conduct of any other juror.

It sats:: ”The court denies the request to conduct a hearing with respect to the other Juries.

The court also denies the defendant’s request for a broader hearing and pre hearing discovery

(It) therefore orders that are hearing take place at which the court will question Juror 50 under oath.”

As well, the court further orders the jury fifties questionnaire be unsealed for the reasons explained in the opinion and order.

The court will email council for Juror 50 a copy of his questionnaire and a copy of this order.

The hearing will take place on March at 10 AM The court orders Juror 50 to appear in the courtroom,

906 of the Thurgood Marshall United States Courthouse, New York. So that’s the main gist of documents.

Now I was listening to a podcast by Nancy Grace quite a while ago, and somebody mentioned on that that the questionnaire was, Are you a victim of sexual abuse?

There are some survivors who do not believe that they can call themselves victims because there has never been a guilty verdict.

Sometimes that’s because charges were never laid.

Pure speculation that maybe he falls into that category,

I’m not sure.

So that was documents 6 10, which basically said: ”No, Ghislaine, you don’t get a retrial on this.”

There will be a hearing with Jury 50 under oath to determine what he got up to now.

He also lodged a document document 609.

It was a memorandum of law in support of motion to intervene and for release of seal jury questionnaire and transcripts on behalf of proposed Intervenor Juror number 50.

Ghislaine Maxwell New Trial

Now that was put in by Todd Sporadic Esquire.

If you’ve been watching any TV lately, you know would be the attorney for Anna, for Anna the main character.

And it’s a true life story in inventing Anna, where this young Russian born woman ripped people out of heaps of money.

Now following on From that is documents 68, which is Scotty Juror fifty notice of motion to intervene and for the release of the documents.

So they go into more detail, which will happen.

He will get everything as the judge has ordered a hearing on March eight.

Now one of the other documents that was released overnight is a 66 page missive, and it was the previously sealed Ghislaine Maxwell motion for a new trial.

And it’s all about Juror 50 another jurors.

It just goes on and on.

I’m going to read it more closely later, and it’s mainly about Juror 50.

So there we go.

The argument that Ghislaine Maxwell was basing her demand for a retrial was all about Juror 50.

Now there’s been one or two people popping up saying,

Oh, it’s got nothing to do with Juror 50. It has So there we go anyway.

Let’s go back to the episode that we’d already recorded.

Yes, there certainly is. We’ve got a big episode for you starting, of course, with the news of the death of Epstein associate and “model agent”, Jean-Luc Brunel.

I say that in quotation marks because it was more a human trafficker. Jean Luc Brunel Jen.

Ghislaine Maxwell New Trial

You have lots of documents.

There’s been a lot of documents drop.

There’s two rather hysterically funny ones.

Pretty sick ones, actually in the Prince Andrew case, but they’re from interlopers,

I talk about those.

And then there’s the Civil Defamation case that Virginia Giuffre has brought against Professor Alan Dershowitz, you know, Epstein’s long term lawyer and lawyer for the stars like O.J

Simpson and Trump and nude volleyballer.

We can’t forget that he’s dragging the chain in the production of documents from other court cases he’s involved in, which includes Netflix because of that series.

Yeah, it’s quite interesting, but we’ve also got information on Courtney Wild’s lawsuit.

That’s right. So Courtney Wild.

She is one of the Epstein whistleblowers who was assaulted by Epstein, and she’s been taking action in the courts to try and assert the rights of the young victims who were basically misled or not told about Epstein’s Florida plea deal.

You may remember last year Alan Dershowitz professor Harvard he got on the BBC went on a massive rant.

It was supposed to be about the Ghislaine Maxwell verdict, but he turned it into something else.

Well, now ITV did a piece about Virginia’s settlement with Prince Andrew.

And while it’s not dash on the camera, there are some strong links and conflicts of interest with who ITV used for one of their interviews.

And then, of course, you just found something on Jes Staley.

Ghislaine Maxwell New Trial

Yes, so he was the bigwig at Barclays Bank who had a very significant association with Epstein.

And when I say that if you search through the Internet, you’ll see that they exchanged so many emails between the two of them,

Well, he stood down from Barclays, and now the bank is considering withholding millions of dollars in bonuses that he was entitled to under his contract.

Now he also went in holidayed a lot with Epstein, too.

All those people messaging me and Lisa telling us that the deep state have knocked him off so he can’t name names.

No, he’s suicided.

So we’re going to deal in facts here, not conspiracy theories.

But the most important thing here,Jen, I think, is how John Luc Brunel lived.

His life matters as much as how he died and survivors first, always so that is a North Star for our podcast.

So we consider what he allegedly did to those women.

He was arrested on December 16, 2000 and 20 at Charles de Gaulle airport trying to flee to Senegal, and since then he’s been held in the historic jail La Santa Prison.

Now it’s his jail was very, very old.

So a lot of people have been sending messages and those crazy conspiracy saying,

Oh, they turned off the cameras.

The cameras were broken.

I spoke to someone whose work has taken them into the prison system in Australia, asking a cameras everywhere.

Does this happen all around the world?

Or is this mainly a US centric thing?

And his response was depending on the age of the facility.

And as he said, a lot of places just don’t retrofit.

So there may not have been cameras.

We haven’t had a definite yes or definite know about whether or not he was housed in a unit or a room or award with a camera or not.

So everyone carrying on they turned off the cameras and killed him.

Listen, we’re dealing with the facts, yes.

Ghislaine Maxwell New Trial

So the French model agent allegedly linked to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell was found dead in his prison cell from suicide.

According to French prosecutors and his own lawyers,

Brunel was in detention awaiting trial on charges including rape of a minor and sexual harassment.

Now, a lawyer for the Brunel survivors told The Guardian her name is Ann Claire Lejeune.

The news was quite terrible for them, adding they felt Brunel had quote left behind many secrets.

She noted the women’s quote, ”frustration and bitterness over not being able to obtain justice justice for the victims of Epstein because it had taken so much courage for them to be able to speak up and to be heard by the police.”

Now, Jen, did you know that he died on the same day as Prince Andrew’s 62nd birthday?

I doubt Jean Luc Brunel Hood that in his calendar.

No, I don’t I think it was a complete coincidence now.

Brunel’s lawyers suggested on Saturday that he killed himself.

In a statement, they described his distress at his incarceration and his repeated requests for our provisional release from the prison because he’s not a flight risk at all.

Jean Luc Brunel never stopped declaring his innocence.

They said his decision was not guided by guilt, but by a deep sentiment of injustice.

No, it was driven by his ego, this man just lying.

Epstein did atrocious acts and thought he could do it.

Thought he had the right to do it.

The last thing this old man wanted, just like Epstein was to have to sit in a court and be judged and told that they were guilty.

Their egos wouldn’t allow it.

Now, speaking of bail, one of the reasons why he wasn’t granted bail was Virginia Giuffre, who, you may know was suing Prince Andrew.

This is her statement.

The suicide of John Luc Brunel, who abused me and countless girls and young women, ends another chapter. I’m disappointed.

I wasn’t able to face him in a final trial to hold him accountable, but gratified that I was able to testify in person last year to keep him in prison.

So one of the survivors, Thysia Huisman, said:

“I’m in shock and it feels disappointing.

This is a completely different ending without any real justice for his victims now.”

It wasn’t just in Paris.

He was in trouble, not just the French legal system.

The Virgin Islands subpoenaed him on November 4th, 2020, so a couple of weeks before he tried to flee Paris.

So this was also weighing on his mind.

Now that subpoena lists a huge lot of demands for information for the Virgin Islands.

They want all documents relating to Epstein and Redacted name, redacted name, redacted name and redacted.

Name any and or financial transactions between Epstein and any Epstein entities.

Any and your travel to the Virgin Islands for any female that you or any modelling talent agency you were involved in organised details on his own travel to and from the Virgin Islands from the year 2000 onwards,

all communications with Epstein and any and all Epstein entities.

All agreements with Epstein or entities.

Identify any and all properties owned or used by yourself or your businesses.

That’s a big one because his house was raided the same day,

September 23rd, 2019, the same day as Epstein’s was rated. They went in at three p.m. To both places in Paris and worked overnight securing evidence.

Plus, they did his office. Now the subpoena continues.

All photos and videos of you on the island, all photos and videos of any females i his models or females he employed or organised to centre Epstein.

Any communications between Epstein regarding females sought by or provided to Epstein?

A catalogue of any brochures, info photos of any and all models employed by you.

So that’s thousands of women or your agencies.

All information about photo shoots and arrangements for those photo shoots in the Virgin Islands.

13 is recruitment of all models. All information and documents regarding that 14 or financial transactions to models or talent agencies.

15. A copy of any legal complaints newspapers or other media, such as articles that refer to any complaints of abuse filed against you by any individual, including females employed by you or one of your agents 16 legal matters regarding Jeffrey Epstein or his entities that if he had any communications about those complaints,

He had to hand them over and any immigration or visa documentation or communication in regards to the models or females.

So that was a huge, massive subpoena that hit his inbox.

And then a few weeks later, he’s trying to flee Paris to go to Senegal, where he couldn’t be touched by anybody.

So he had more than just the Paris arrest on his mind when he’s suicide.

Ghislaine Maxwell New Trial

Yes, because authorities did allege Brunel organised the transport and accommodation of young girls and women on behalf of Jeffrey Epstein.

And, as we know, Epstein had a financial stake in Brunell’s model agency, called EMC Squared.

I went through the Internet archive, and I found an interesting story from the Miami Herald and it is mentioning Virginia Giuffre a saying quote.

Jean-Luc Brunel Dead in Jail…on Prince Andrew’s Birthday

How Jean-Luc Brunel lived his life matters as much as how he died.

Survivors first always.

Jean-Luc Brunel dead: The knocks keep coming for Queen Elizabeth’s son Prince Andrew after news yesterday that sex trafficker and Epstein pal Jean-Luc Brunel is dead.

Brunel, who was accused of sexual assault, ran the notorious model agent business MC2. It had offices in Miami, New York and Paris.

His death in a Paris prison is the latest turn in an international investigation into sexual assault allegations and human trafficking.

  • The French model agent linked to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell was found dead in his prison cell from suicide, French prosecutor’s said on the weekend.
  • Brunel, aged 74, was in detention awaiting trial on charges including rape of a minor and sexual harassment.

A lawyer for the Brunel survivors, Anne-Claire Le Jeune, told The Guardian the news was “quite terrible” for them, adding they felt Brunel had “left behind many secrets”.

She noted the women’s “frustration and bitterness over not being able to obtain justice – just as for the victims of Epstein” because it had taken “so much courage for them to be able to speak up, to be heard by the police”.

At the same time, today is Prince Andrew’s 62nd birthday. No doubt it will be a muted affair.

Jean-Luc Brunel Dead: he was suspected of organising the “accommodation of young girls or young women on behalf of Jeffrey Epstein.”

He was charged by authorities in Paris with sexual harassment and the rape of minors over 15 years old, including Virginia Giufree.

The Frenchman was suspected of having committed acts of rape, sexual assault and sexual harassment on various minor and adult victims.

The response to his death from survivors of the model agent were today a mixture of resignation and a sense that justice was denied, again.

Jean-Luc Brunel Died in Jail by Suicide: Authorities

Ms Giuffre today made the following statement via Twitter:

Jean-Luc Brunel
Comment from Virginia Giuffre today on Twitter

Survivor Thysia Huisman said: “Jean-Luc Brunel has been found dead in his prison cell. He supposedly hung himself last night. I am in shock. Was this really suicide? And it feels disappointing. This is a completely different ending without any real justice for his victims.”

Brunel was arrested at a Paris airport in 2020 while trying to leave France for Senegal. According to local television, the Epstein associate had deep ties to the African nation.

Authorities alleged Brunel organised the transport and accommodation of young girls or young women on behalf of Jeffrey Epstein.

In addition, Epstein had a financial stake in Brunel’s model agency.

The Many Homes of Sex Trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell

Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell now lives in a jail cell, but her estranged husband is now selling their marital abode near Boston.

Scott Borgerson is listing for sale the former love nest at Manchester-By-The-Sea at more than $7million.

“She was here years ago, but actually left when this thing started to rear its ugly head — her situation from conduct decades ago,” Borgeson told The Wall Street Journal of Maxwell.

The Metropolitan Detention Center is a long way from the grand mansions 60-year-old Maxwell has previously called home.

They include:

  • Headington Hill Hall, Oxford
  • Jeffrey Epstein’s New York Mansion
  • Maxwell’s Manhattan Town Home
  • The London Mews House
  • Her New York Penthouse (rumoured to have been bought for her by billionaire Ted Waitt)
  • Manchester-By-the-Sea historic home
  • The New Hampshire property where she was arrested in 2020.

The Manchester by the Sea property, owned by her estranged husband, is one of many places where Maxwell has laid her head over the years.

Headington Hill Hall: “The Best Council House in the Country”

Ghislaine’s fraudster father Robert Maxwell leased the building from Oxford Council for 32 years, for use as a residence and offices. He described it as the “best council house in the country.”

It was the scene of many an ostentatious party and Sunday lunches where the man of the house would verbally abuse everyone at the table.

What’s not to like?!?!

It’s now part of Oxford University.

Jeffrey Epstein’s Creepy Mansion in Manhattan

Maxwell’s distinctive interior design is also apparent in Epstein’s den of depravity at East 71st Street.

The woman loves shades of red

She lived there from about approximately 1992 until she later moved in 2000 to her own house nearby at 116 East 65th Street.

The Manhattan Townhome

This house previously belonged to Lyn Forrester de Rothschild, who was the person who introduced Epstein to lawyer Alan Dershowitz. (Well that’s what Dersh told the Epstein Netflix documentary.)

Maxwell bought the home in 2000 for just under $million and sold it in around 2015 for $17million.

Maxwell really went to town here with her interesting decor choices.

The Beaux Arts-style property, which dates back to 1910 and is located between Park and Lexington Aves., has 12 rooms, including six bedrooms, nine wood-burning fireplaces, an elevator, a media room and library with a built-in projector and surround sound, a home office, a chef’s kitchen with granite countertops, and a landscaped garden.

If you want to know who Maxwell really is, this house is the physical representation.

I am not a psychologist, but I know ugly when I see it.

Check out the kitchen tiles (top right)

The London Mews House

Her UK base was in one of the best spots in London, in Belgravia. It’s also across the road from a pub and walking distance to Hyde Park.

This was the residence where Virginia Roberts Giufree said she was assaulted by Prince Andrew on March 10, 2001.

Maxwell sold it recently to pay her legal fees. A UK property developer bought it at a discount at for £1.75million.

Red door. Red windows. Red door hinges.

New York Penthouse (rumoured to have been bought for her by billionaire Ted Waitt)

This is a story we were told by the comic Tom Arnold. According to him, Maxwell briefly lived in the penthouse once owned by Rupert Murdoch (she was there for possibly days in 2011).

Waitt quickly offloaded the property.

Here’s where the story gets depressing. It turns out Waitt bought the property for his girlfriend?and the couple broke up one week after closing. While we would’ve hung onto the apartment, Waitt apparently felt differently. He’s found a buyer, according to the Observer.

Curbed.com

Is this the reason for the break up? It seems 2011 was not Maxwell’s year.

Manchester-By-the-Sea historic home

Maxwell soon rebounded into the arms of a married former coast guard officer, Scott Borgerson.

She bunked down with him in an historic mansion in Manchester-By-the-Sea, much to the annoyance of their neighbours.

The local disputes flared into legal action in 2020, which was also not Maxwell’s best year.

Because she was arrested.

Maxwell and Borgerson renovated the property and he said the work was at a cost of $2.5million.

The stairs

Check this out. It’s Ghislaine’s penchant for red again. This time demonstrated through earrings and a coral lamp.

Picture of Borgerson’s lounge area. Note the lamp. That table is also from her New York home.
The sofa is probably the same one in the previous shots, recovered.
She likes coral accessories

Tucked Away

This is where our story of privilege and luxury ends because Maxwell was arrested here in 2020, near Bradford New Hampshire.

She bought the house in December 2019 using a fake name and told the agent she was a journalist.

Like it’s namesake, the $1million property was well and truly tucked away.

I wonder if she misses it?
