The Daily Mail: Ghislaine Maxwell cried as she was denied bail on Tuesday, with a judge ruling she must stay locked up until her trial in July of 2021
The British socialite, 58, pleaded not guilty to the sex trafficking charges brought against her
She hung her head as she learned her fate, wearing a prison-issued brown top and with her normally short hair now long and swept back into a bun
Judge Alison Nathan ruled Maxwell was a significant flight risk, citing her ‘substantial international’ ties and ‘extraordinary financial resources’
Maxwell appeared via video, accused of grooming girls as young as 14 for Jeffrey Epstein to abuse between 1994 and 1997
She had offered a $5 million bond co-signed by two of her sisters and backed up by more than $3.75 million in property in the UK
Prosecutors fought for no bail, presenting evidence that she is ‘skilled at living in hiding’, citing her three passports and claimed she is worth more than $10M
The Netflix Epstein Filthy Rich documentary is finally out. We’ve reviewed episodes one and two already, go check them out if you haven’t. This week we share our impressions of episode three of the series.
But before that, it’s been raining Epstein News. It’s hard to know where to begin.
To start, we have exclusive information from a listener about Epstein’s Pervert Island.
Jen is going to talk about the return of the internet activist group, Anonymous. What does it have to do with Epstein? Everything! Then she will talk about legal action this week in Palm Beach, Florida.
Plus Prince Andrew is writing cheques he can’t cash. Again.
This episode contains disturbing content.
Hello and welcome to the Prince and the Pervert podcast. I’m Lisa Tait and I’m Jen Tarran. So it was last the week that the Netflix Epstein Filthy Rich documentary finally came out. We’ve reviewed episodes one and two already, go check them out if you haven’t.
So today we have our impressions of episode three. But before that, it’s been raining Epstein News. It’s hard to know where to start.
Jen is going to talk about the return of the internet activist group, Anonymous. What does it have to do with Epstein? Everything! Then she will talk about legal action in Palm Beach, Florida.
We received news from someone who went to Little St James island before it became Epstein’s hell on earth.
They went to LSJ four times in the late 90s and they ventured to the outside of the NY townhouse once (but they only knocked on the door of Epstein’s East 71st pile). They didn’t get as far as the lobby because they were making a delivery.
This person visited LSJ when it was owned by venture capitalist Arch Cummin, (who was in no way associated with the Epstein crimes.)
The island, furniture and the employees were transferred over in the sale. The dining table Epstein sat at while being massaged by Sarah Kellen was owned by the previous tenant.
One staff member later told our source they stopped working for Epstein because there were “so many young girls there.”
“He couldn’t handle the screams at night.”
People in NY society also knew Ghislaine was Epstein’s beard.
Our source said there would be tunnels there and JE and Ghis turned the public beach near where the boats docked into a marine reserve, so it was essentially private.
